Join us in wishing our amazing virtual Virgin Money London Marathon runners the best of luck before the big day!

Mark, Vicki, Jen and Rachel are all taking on the virtual event this coming Sunday (3 October 2021) to raise funds for WMUK and the WM community. They'll be joining thousands of other people around the country, who have all challenged themselves to run 26.2 miles. the virtual London Marathon asks participants to keep local, running a course of their choosing. A special app records the participants' times, and everyone who completes the challenge receives the sought-after Virgin Money London Marathon medal.

Our runners are making a real difference. Vicki, Jen and Rachel - sisters running in support of their dad, who was diagnosed with WM earlier this year - have already raised over £1,500, and Mark - a WM patient himself - has raised an astounding £1,100. Their efforts are bringing WMers together through support groups and our Patient-Doctor Summit, empowering people by providing expert and accessible information and creating hope for the future by funding vital research.
